Tone Poems Volume 1 Liner Notes :
It took a full year after my life-saving surgery before I could play or sing
again. For someone whose entire life has been shaped by music, that yearlong
silence was overwhelming. I questioned whether my gift would ever
return. I questioned who I was without it.
When I was finally able to begin again, the progress was slow… painfully slow
at times. But in that season, God placed a quiet challenge on my heart:
Show up. Trust Me. Let Me do the rest.
So for 25 straight mornings, at 4 AM, I sat with my guitar and listened. I
prayed for strength, for healing, for patience, and for the courage to try
again. And in those still moments, something began to move. Little by little,
the music returned — not by my strength, but by His.
Tone Poems, Volume 1 became more than an album. It became a testimony
— a reminder that God’s grace finds us in our weakest hours, that healing
follows its own timing, and that the gifts we carry are never truly ours alone.
I offer this music with the deepest gratitude — for healing, for another
chance, and for everyone who may need a gentle reminder that hope still
rises. ,
